They ate his soul then they ate his heart
He hoped he wouldn't fall apart
But then the sun rose up one day
Inside his house along the Bay
he has searched long for that love of all loves, but it hastens not, although winter has come and left him desolate of every hope of warmth, comfort, and prospect of his name's immortality.
nor will this elusive love reveal itself in his tiny dreams, allowing, at the very least, a gossamer of muted visions that would elevate a worn and bitter man to a level of expanded vistas, kindling within the flame of love's illusion..
They ate his soul then they ate his heart
He hoped he wouldn't fall apart
But then the sun rose up one day
Inside his house along the Bay
just wondering if anyone has gone back to a meeting out of curiosity?
(perhaps to an area far from your old khall where you know no one).
with all the changes from 2012 onwards (videos, tv screens, new meeting format, new songs etc) it would be an odd experience to be in attendance!.
NO
so i've been watching the show and really enjoying it.
great to see a trek tv series finally get a reasonable budget.
beautiful costumes, sets, cinematography, action pieces, etc.. really my only complaints are how cg all the ships look and there's a fair bit of stiff dialog from time to time.. what do you guys think of the show?.
There's a new show that I've only seen two episodes but it's real unusual called counterpart. I'm hoping it will go to a place where no one has gone before.
if somebody knocks on your door and wants to enter your home (for whatever reason) you are faced with a decision process based, in part, on your ability to suss out why you do or do not allow entrance.. agreed?example:.
"i'm being stalked by a madman--please let me hide inside" would be a strong emotional reason.
""i'm with a group of jehovah's witnesses, we want to brainwash you.
Her heart felt sorry for the dogs at the pound so she brought them to live on her own private ground
She fed them, she cleaned them she picked up their trash she did everything till she ran out of cash
they fought and they pooped and they never would listen she hid in the closet so she wouldn't be bitten
they ruined everything and they never obeyed and with each passing day she felt her love fade.

of course, we don't share all views in common.
unless i'm mistaken, however, we older, former jws were decisive about what our "bible-trained consciences" would allow -- or not.
When you do a natal chart the ascendant which has to do with the time of birth and the place is the point in the sky that everything is in relationship to. So looking at the flat surface of all the planetary orbits even though the orbits are different sometimes they are next to each other and form whats called a conjunction and act together. It's actually rather interesting.
i just now went to get meat from my fridge to cook, took the meat out & shut the door as i shut the door i thought i saw a piece of rope in the six pack i had just opened & had removed 2 cans, already drunk 1.. open the door again & there i saw what i thought was a piece of rope, but i look a bit closer ...... shit it's a friggin snake, bugger i had only just taken two cans out wtf.. .
One morning several years ago as I was making coffee my cat started freaking out by the refrigerator. I thought she had seen a bug behind it but it turned out to be a three foot snake that had escaped from the upstairs apt. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. So i woke up my husband and said get it out of here and he brought it outside. The people upstairs found out when I reported it to the management and went out looking for it but it was gone.

I like star trek discovery and I like Orville and I think I like them all. I've found something in every permutation that appeals to me.

Oh the songs from those days
My experience was not the same because I wasn't a Jw till my 30's so I indulged completely in the music of the sixties an seventies and the early eighties. I even saw the original musical Hair. When I think about what it would have been like to miss that I think that it is a terrible thing to take away from your child. You remember the songs fondly even the weird and creepy ones.
one of the first things that shook my faith as a teenager was learning about egypt and how its history goes back as far as 3500 bc, much earlier than the flood.
also learning about the first settlements like çatalhöyük, which flourished around 7500 bc, much earlier than the creation of adam.
the only answer i got from my mother was that this world is dominated by satan and thus we cannot trust in worldly chronologies.
If your interested in Egypt check out the serepeum at saquara Jw's are always playing the satan card. Imagine how busy that guy must be carving up granite and painting animals and making handprints in caves. Planting neanderthal bones all over the earth just to confuse us. Most people just get tired and stop searching for real answers . The proverbial devil made me do it.
i was born january 15, 1947in mt.
carmel hospital, detroit, michigan.. within six months of my birth, my mother would bundle her baby boy into a blanket and board an american airlines propeller-driven plane--in effect, leaving my father behind--to return to her hometown, ft. worth, texas.. my dad had an excellent job working for cadillac as an inspector.
it was a union job.
Happy Birthday and may you continue to embrace change and not allow fear to stop your quest for what is true.
